The brand new Sunset Amphitheater in Colorado Springs opens for its first concert on August 9th. The new venue’s first show will be OneRepublic – which will also be the venue’s second and third show. Initially scheduled for one show on the 9th, OneRepublic added a second show on the 10th, and now adds one more for the 11th.
Acts scheduled for later in the summer include The Beach Boys, Laura Daigle, Primus, Dirks Bentley, and Robert Plant & Alison Krauss.
The driving directions address for Sunset Amphitheater is 95 Spectrum Loop, Colorado Springs, CO. According to the amphitheater’s website, the venue is situated to afford “an unparalleled view of the sun setting over Pikes Peak.” Thus the name!
