The video of Aretha Franklin’s performance of (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman at the Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Carole King has been lighting up the internet. Carole King was honored at the event for her prolific and successful career as a singer/songwriter.
The Kennedy Center Honors tribute was just the most recent bit of attention directed towards the talented writer and performer. Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, a biographical musical about the songwriter’s life and career, opened on Broadway in January of 2014 and is still going strong.
For those who can’t make it to New York to the see the Broadway production, a national touring company of the show is currently on the road.
