The Orlando Citrus Bowl has acquired a new sponsor and the facility has been renamed Camping World Stadium. In addition to the stadium being renamed, the series of college football season kick-off games held there will also go by the new name. The 2016 Camping World Kickoff matches up the Florida State Seminoles against Ole Miss on September 5th. The 2017 and 2017 Camping World Kickoff games, which will also be held at the Orlando stadium feature Alabama versus Louisville and Florida versus Miami.
The stadium was recently renovated, with $207 million spent on an extensive partial demolition and reconstruction of the facility.
The 2017 NFL Pro Bowl will take place at Camping World Stadium on January 29, 2017.
Three college bowls are also scheduled for the stadium, with the AutoNation Cure Bowl on December 17th, the Russell Athletic Bowl on December 28th, and the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl on December 31st.
