New Fest of 2018
The 2018 In Bloom Music Festival in Houston, Texas takes place March 24 & 25.
The In Bloom fest is new, but not really new. As we reported previously, In Bloom Festival is a rebranding of Free Press Summer Fest. Along with the new name came new dates, but the venue stays the same, with the event happening at Houston’s Eleanor Tinsley Park.
Lineup
The performer lineup for the fest includes Beck, Queens of the Stone Age, Incubus, Martin Garrix, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, Explosions in the Sky, Broken Social Scene, Grizzly Bear, Lil Dicky, Slvan Esso, Highly Suspect, Dram, T-Pain, Gramatik, Moon Taxi, Slander, Houndmouth, H.E.R., and many more. Location and Places to Stay
In Bloom is held at Eleanor Tinsley Park, located near downtown Houston. Eleanor Tinsley Park is part of the large Buffalo Bayou Park.
There is no onsite camping available for the In Bloom Festival, but there are plenty of hotels nearby. The Best Western Plus, DoubleTree, Hyatt Regency, SpringHill Suites, Courtyard by Marriott, and Holiday Inn are all within a mile walk of the park. There’s a highway between the hotels and the festival site at the park, but there are several walking paths connecting the two areas. See a complete list of nearby hotels.
