More Music Festivals Canceled or Postponed

Several more U.S. music festival have made the decision to either reschedule or cancel their 2020 events due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. 

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has been rescheduled for September 24 – 27. The event takes place in Manchester, Tennessee. 

Milwaukee’s Summerfest event will not take place in the summer this year. The event has been rescheduled for new fall dates. The festival will take place September 3 – 5, 10-12, and 17 – 19. Summerfest is held along the waterfront of Lake Michigan at Henry Maier Festival Park.

Country Thunder Arizona, originally scheduled for April 16 – 19, has been rescheduled for October 29 – November 1, 2020. Country Thunder Florida had previously announced that it will now take place October 16 – 18. 

Firefly Music Festival, held annually in Dover, Delaware, has been cancelled for 2020 and will return in 2021. 

Virginia Beach, Virginia’s Patriotic Music Festival has been canceled for 2020 and will return in 2021.

Epicenter, Welcome to Rockville, and Sonic Temple Art+Music Festival, three big springtime rock festivals, have been cancelled. However, one fall season rock fest is actually expanding. Louder Than Life has added a fourth day. The festival, which takes place in Louisville, Kentucky, has added Thursday to the event and the headliner for that extra day will be Metallica. Louder Than Life takes place September 17 – 20, 2020.
