Hometown Rising – Louisville’s New Music and Bourbon Festival

There’s a new festival coming to Louisville, Kentucky. Hometown Rising Country Music + Bourbon Festival happens September 14 & 15, 2019.

The event will be held at the new Highland Festival Grounds at the Kentucky Expo Center. This will also be the new home of the popular Louder Than Life Festival and Bourbon and Beyond Festival, both of which happen later in the month (September is a really big month for music festivals in Louisville!). The Highland grounds are appropriately named – the new venue provides a higher, and hopefully drier, venue alternative to the riverfront Champions Park, which experienced flooding problems in the past.

The entertainment lineup for the debut edition of Hometown Rising includes Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Brett Young, Dwight Yoakam, Jake Owen, Trace Adkins, Bret Michaels, Lauren Alaina, Locash, Frankie Ballard, The Cadillac Three, Drake White and The Big Fire, Jimmie Allen, Kinsay Ell, The Wild Features, The Steel Woods, Clare Dunn, Mason Ramsey, Gabby Barrett, and more.

Tickets are available now through the festival website, with weekend pass prices starting at $139.50.

There’s onsite camping (RV camping and Car Passes for tent camping) available. If you’d rather not camp, check out our list of nearby hotels
