Hootie & the Blowfish Have a New Album and Concert Tour Coming in 2019

Hootie and the Blowfish are back. The group that released their Cracked Rear View album about 25 years ago has announced a 44 city “Group Therapy Tour” for 2019. The Bare Naked Ladies will be joining them on the tour as special guests. Tickets are available through presale now and go on sale to the general public December 7th.

The tour kicks off on May 30th at Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, VA and wraps up in the band’s home state with a September 13th show at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina.

The other big news is that the band is releasing a new album in 2019. The last studio album released by the group was 2005’s Looking for Lucky. Since then, the group’s front man, Darius Rucker, has made a successful solo career for himself, winning a Best Country Solo Performance Grammy Award in 2013 for Wagon Wheel.
