Two Big Arenas Get New Names, Upgrades

Scottrade Center in St. Louis is now Enterprise Center, and Philips Arena in Atlanta is now State Farm Arena.

The transformation of St. Louis’ Scottrade Center to Enterprise Center brings more than just a new name. the facility received $42 million in renovations over the summer. Updates include 10,000 square feet of additional premium space on the lower level, new seats in the upper level, and a revamp of the atrium area. Everything was completed in time for a new season of St. Louis Blues hockey and a concert lineup that includes upcoming shows with Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, and more.

Atlanta’s Philips Arena also underwent renovations along with a name change to State Farm Arena. $200 million in renovations have created a modernized setting for home team NBA Atlanta Hawks. Updates include at big video scoreboard, the addition of new party suites that incorporate Top Golf swing simulators and a new beer hall on the upper deck. In addition to Hawks basketball games, the arena hosts concerts and other events. Big shows on the schedule for State Farm Arena include Twenty One Pilots, Travis Scott, Drake, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Pink, Mumford & Sons, and New Kids on the Block.
