The Annual Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival Returns to Columbia, MO Sept 28 – 30, 2018

The Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival enters its 12th year with an excellent, eclectic lineup of roots, blues, gospel, country, folk, bluegrass, rock, and soul performers.

The 2018 lineup features 30 acts, including The Avett Brothers, Sturgill Simpson, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Greeensky Bluegrass, Lake Street Dive, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Margo Price, The Mavericks, Keb’ Mo’, Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, Amanda Shires, Son Volt, Valerie JUne, Dale Watson, Ha Ha Tonka, Samantha Fish, Isreal Nash, The Cactus Blossoms, Davy Knowles, Ben Miller Band, Music Maker Blues Revue, Kelly Willis, The Kay Brothers, The Mighty Pines, King Benny, The Burney Sisters, Blue Jay, Broadway Blues, and Norm Ruebling Band.

At all happens on two stages in Colombia, Missouri’s Stephens Lake Park, September 28 – 30, 2018.

For athletic types, the Roots N Blues N BBQ Betsy Farris Memorial 5K, 10K & 1/2 Marathon is held in conjunction with the music fest on Saturday, September 29th. Runners can enjoy live music on the course as they run through Columbia’s nature trails, downtown district, and the University of Missouri campus before finishing at Stephens Lake Park.

There is no camping at the festival site, so you’ll want to book a room at a nearby hotel. The Concert Nexus has the hotels closest to Stephens Lake Park all mapped out for you.  There will be a free festival shuttle running from the downtown area to the festival site.

Tickets are on sale now and currently priced at $75 for single day tickets and $160 for weekend passes. Prices go up and the festival date approaches. Visit the official festival website for ticket information.
