And now for the latest installment of the name change game …
The big outdoor venue at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, is now Dos Equis Pavilion. Up until mid-April of this year, the venue was called Starplex Amphitheatre. Other names for the amphitheater, which opened in 1988, have been Gexa Energy Pavilion, and Smirnoff Music Centre.
Upcoming concerts for the Dos Equis Pav include Kesha & Macklemore, Weezer/Pixes, Chicago/REO Speedwagon, Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival, Chris Brown, Vans Warped Tour, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Niall Horan, Pentatonix, Jason Aldean, Five Finger Death Punch & Breaking Benjamin, G-EAZY, Miranda Lambert & Little Big Town, and more.
