Jason Isbell is squeezing three festival appearances into three consecutive days July 13th, 14th, and 15th.
All three shows are with his band, The 400 Unit.
July 13th finds him headlining Americana Kansas City at the Providence Medical Center Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kansas. To be fair, this one’s more of a concert than a fest. The event, presented by The Bridge, also features Turnpike Troubadours and Old 97’s.
Next stop is Sloss Fest at the historic Sloss Furnaces site in Birmingham, Alabama on July 14th. Idbell and the 400 Unit are on Saturday’s lineup for this two-day fest. Other Saturday performers for this event include Arcade Fire, Vance Joy, and Moon Taxi.
And then Sunday, July 15th, it’s … you guessed it! Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit on the Forecastle Festival stage in Louisville, Kentucky. Forecastle is a big, three-day festival at Louisville’s Waterfront Park.
Interesting side note: Isbell and Chris Stapleton trade off spots at Sloss Fest and Forecastle Festival on the July 14th & 15th, with Isbell at Sloss on the 14th & Forecastle on the 15th and Stapleton doing it the other way around, with Forecastle on the 14th and Sloss on the 15th. These guys do some travelling!
