Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir has announced a solo tour to promote his new album Blue Mountain. The tour includes seven stops, all in October. Weir’s solo tour follows a summer of touring with Dead & Company.
Weir calls Blue Mountain a cowboy album. It’s all new music, written in tribute to the ranch stories and fireside snogs of his youth.
